Frontier scout Wade Harper (Phil Carey, Mister Roberts, Wyoming Renegades) is trying to assist in bringing peace between the Native American people and the white man. Instead, he finds himself trapped in the middle of an outpost shootout as he protects a Sioux Army aide accused of murder, as well as Wade's ex-girlfriend, a sly gambler, a crusty outpost chief, and a psychopathic Army private.
The Nebraskan is unique in that it features three actors who went on to find great fame in later roles: legendary Western villain Lee Van Cleef (The Good, The Bad and The Ugly); Jay Silver heels, who played Tonto in TV's The Lone Ranger; and Dennis Weaver, the star of the popular TV series McCloud.
